CHILDREN WITH HIV/AIDS GET A CHANCE AT AN EDUCATION - In March 2011 it was brought to our attention that children in Somotillo were not going because their parents had either died of AIDS or they currently have AIDS and can not work. No work means no income, no income means no school uniforms. 41 children were blessed in March 2011 to receive new uniforms and an ice cream party to celebrate their blessings. Check out their photos here.

DARLING'S NEW HOUSE - in 2007 I met one of the pooriest families that I have ever come across. Since then God has put them on my heart many times and in 2010 He prompted my heart to help them have a new home. Through many fundraising methods and help from others I am excited to show you her new house. Click here to see the old house and the new one..

OPERATION EDUCATION - Only 35% of the children in Nicaragua get to go to school. Out of those 35% most only get to go to the 4th grade all because they can't afford a school uniform. 127 kids will be attending school for the 2011 school year. Read More

Summer 2010 Sports Tournament - this year we hosted another tournament similar to last year but focusing on a different group of youth. We had soccer and basketball players this year. As usual we gave them a huge banquet and 11 accepted the Lord. Check out the photos here.

Tile Factory - in 2010 I was blessed by others to help Ceibita start a Tile Factory. 12 men run the business and all the men in the community work for them. Sor far it has been a great success. Check out the pictures here.

Kidney Transplant a Success - after two years of living on the edge of death little Oscar has successfully received his new kidney from his mom. Both are currently in the hospital recovering. Please continue to pray for both of them as they recover. Check out pictures of Oscar in the photo gallery or click here.

House Project- In early 2008 a local family here felt led to build a house for a needy family. We found a very needy family in Coffradia and have now built them a nice 400 square foot block home with a metal roof that will last them and their children a life time. Click here to view the pictures.

Card Making Project - In July 07 I met one of the nicest communities I had ever met. They were so happy to be visited by us and really wanted our help to get them employement. After returning to the US God gave me a great idea of a way they could easily make some additional money.

That's where the card project was birthed. I took supplies to them and they drew pictures on them and we made them into greeting cards. I returned, sold them and each family raised about $78 for drawing 80 cards. The pictures were great and the project was a success. The money raised was as much as a years salary for most of the families. Check out the pictures here.

Sports Ministry - being a ball player for most of my life I have a love for sports and being in Nicaragua and seeing youth play with broken bats, busted balls and no nets just kills me. In 07 I was blessed to give equipment to a soccer team and a baseball team through the donations of friends, businessmen and other organizations.

Each team received new uniforms, balls, and all the equipment needed to play the game they love.
