It is that time of the year when I am looking for people to sponsor kids so they can attend school next year. This year I have 28 kids that still need a sponsor out of the 125+ kids in the program.
The sponsorship is $35 a year. This will provide a student with a new backpack, full uniform including socks, new pair of shoes and school supplies.
In addition to the sponsorship payment there will be 3 times (in March, August and December) when you can also send in money to help provide food for the families when I am on my trips. This is an optional donation and can be of any amount. (The average amount is around $20)
If you have never sponsored a child with me this is your opportunity to bless a child like no other.
My community has the highest number of kids passing their grades and attending school. The director of the school visited me this past trip to tell me just how important this project is. He told me without our support none of the kids would be able to attend school.
Only 1 out of 3 kids get to go to school simply because they can not afford to purchase the government required uniform and shoes.
Please consider being a sponsor this year. You will be blessed and you will be blessing a wonderful child.
During the year you will receive at least 3 letters from your child so you will not only get to send them to school but you will be able to know them personally so you can pray for them.
