The Prayer Needs of Others

Eph. 6:18 tells us "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. "

I Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer.

Just think about I Peter 3:12, His ears are attentive to YOUR prayer. He stops and listens to what you have to say. You have the power within you to STOP God and have him listen to what you have to say by just praying... Use that power today for the people of Kenya.

Most of you may not know this but in Kenya today many people will die for no reason. There has been a civil war going on for a couple of months over the recent elections. Thousands of innocent children, mothers and fathers have been killed, raped, their homes destroyed and much more.

I have two contacts there, one of whom I have only communicated with once and last night he emailed me asking for prayer. Just think about it, he's emailing a person he has never met, never spoken to and only received an email from once in him life. That alone should tell you how much he needs our prayers. Below is his actual email to me, What faith he has...

Need a Storage Unit

I am running out of room to store things for Nicaragua and need your help.

Do you know someone who owns a store facility that would like a tax right off?

Do you have a large room that can hold a large amount of bags of clothes? Maybe a 10x10?

How about a empty tractor trailer bed?

Please let me know if you have any leads. I will need this space soon.

My Buddy Oscar

We meet little Oscar in July, 07. He was the littel boy I asked everyone to pray for because he was on his death bed.

He has lost one kidney and was in the process of losing another. We were told that if Oscar did not get dialysis he would soon die. We did the only thing we knew to do. PRAY.

God heard our prayers and the prayers of many of you and in December when we went to see him we found him, happy, healthy, running around and riding his bike.

Just the day before this visit his doctor told his mom not only did Oscar not need dialysis but he was no longer anemic and did not need to return to the hospital for his bi-weekly visits.

Dr. Anderson the doctor who introduced us to him told us this was a miracle. There is no explanation for how his kidney could heal itself. Once you get to the levels of needing dialysis there is no return. Obvious our healer had a bigger plan.

Praise God.. He is our Healer and our Miracle Worker.

Baby Clothes Delivered

Several months ago I emailed everyone asking for baby clothes for 3 families that were expecting in December and January.

I had the priviledge to take a lot of very nice new and used clothes to these families.

Thanks so much goes out to Shannon Griffith, Lisa Goodman, Tracy Conklin, Rebecca Craven and Lindsey Craven. Your blessings to these families were undescribable by them. They all said, "We pray that God will bless these families much more than we have been blesssed."

Sometimes it only takes your time to change the lives of others. All of these families were in desperate need of these clothes and were humbled by your desire to give to them.

Current Prayer Requests

A lot of changes are coming my way this year concerning my ministry work in Nicaragua.

In March I will be going down to investigate and locate working in new villages outside of Ministry of His Glory. God has opened the door for me to start working on my own facility and ministry in Nicaragua. I hope to start working there on a monthly basis this year. Of course, in order to do that I will need many things. Please pray in agreement with me for the following:

1. Investors - people who will be willing to commit to donating finances on a consistent basis.
2. Local Contacts - it is difficult to work in these areas without good, reliable people I can trust.
3. A new facility - I will be looking for property and a building that I can purchase and repair to make the type of facility needed.
4. Wisdom, Guidance - This is a big task and I am ready for it but I have no desire to do anything outside of the will of the Lord. I must always be focused on what he wants not what I think he wants.

Feel free to post your prayers requests here also.

Our New Family Members

Some of you know this already but for those of you who have not heard yet our family is adopting two beautiful girls from the orphanage I have been going to.

As of today we are in the beginning stages. There are a lot of processes that have to be completed here as well as getting the girls declared abandoned.

We hope to take our finished paperwork to Nicaragua in March.

Please pray for us as this is a lenghty process and requires a great deal of patience.

It is unknown at this time how long this process will take.

Our daughters names are Carmen and Isamar. I have spent the last 4 summers with them.

I'll keep you posted on the status as I have new information.

Christmas in Nicaragua

Terry and I had the priviledge of going to Nicaragua at the beginning of December for 9 days. During this time we helped Ministries of His Glory give out backpacks to all the sponsored kids of Save A Generation. Preview those pictures by clicking here.

On Friday 14th, we got to have Christmas at the Orphanage. It was truly the most rememberable time I have had in Nicaragua.

Check out the bed heads of the girls by clicking here. We started at 5:15 am that morning. What a great way to wake up.

Enjoy the pictures.

God Bless,

Angie

Baby Shay...

Remember my sweet baby girl Shay that all last year we were praying for?

Well most of the year there was nothing to report until now. She continues to live with my sister-in-law and is doing great.

The week before Christmas the mother of Shay gave Tina permission to adopt Shay. She gave over her rights to Shay and the father has not showed his face since this time last year so DSS will be taking his rights.

Basically, this means that Shay will soon ours with no future concerns.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers for our sweet baby girl Shay.

Enjoy the updated picture.

God Bless,

Angie
